Steve Cannon Awarded 2022 CEO Leadership Honoree
On Wednesday, February 23rd, Soldiers to Sidelines recognized our own Steve Cannon as the 2022 Legacy of Leadership Honoree. Steve was presented as the CEO Leadership Honoree, along with Alabama head coach Nick Saban as the Coaching Leadership Honoree and Col. (Ret) Greg Gadson as the Military Leadership Honoree. Soldiers to Sidelines is an organization that aims to help veterans and service members find renewed purpose by continuing to serve their communities as coaches.
Andrew Young Walk for Peace and Reconciliation
In celebration of Ambassador Andrew Young’s 90th Birthday, AMBSE employees joined Ambassador Young in a walk for peace and reconciliation along with government officials, local and international guests, and Atlanta residents. The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation gave a $1 million grant to support the Andrew J. Young Foundation. This grant serves as an investment in Ambassador Young’s vision of a peaceful, respectful, and prosperous future for all people.
BFOB Community Week with
Atlanta Community Food Bank
In alignment with two of our core values, 'include everyone' and 'give back to others', employees across organizations within the Blank Family of Businesses volunteered at the Atlanta Community Food Bank for the 2022 Community Day. Over a four-day span, BFOB associates sorted and prepared food that will impact families in the 29-county service area at the Atlanta Community Foodbank within the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation Hunger Center.
GA 100 Campaign Announces Next Phase of Mini-Pitches In Georgia
The Atlanta United Foundation and Local Initiatives Support Corporation have announced grants to develop four new soccer mini-pitches as part of the next phase of the GA 100campaign. With 16 mini-pitches now in development or completed, the campaign is closer to its goal to create up to 100 mini-pitches across the state leading into the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The first mini-pitch of the GA 100 campaign was granted to Coastal Outreach Soccer, a nonprofit organization that provides academic and athletic programming to underserved youth in Brunswick and Glynn County, Georgia.
Georgia Power to Present the Mercedes-Benz Stadium STEAM Tour
Mercedes-Benz Stadium announced Georgia Power as the presenting sponsor of the MBS STEAM Tour Experience, an educational program utilizing the stadium as the foundation for students to learn properties of the science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics curriculum. On average, MBS hosts more than 600 schools and 30,000 students a year through its STEAM Tour Experience.

With over 12 available spaces to transform, the stadium is perfect for any corporate dinner, reception, meeting or whatever else you can think of!
